We had a mutual group of friends, but somehow we never met for years. Everyone thought we already knew each other.
One evening, while we were hanging out with our friends, he/she sat in the empty seat next to me. We started with a simple conversation, and somehow one topic led to another. We discovered that we liked the same movies, drank our coffee the same way, and even listened to the same songs.
At the end of the night, we said, “I’m glad we finally met,” and went our separate ways. Honestly, I didn’t think we would see each other again.
A few days later, our friends made another plan. This time, the conversations were longer and the laughs came more easily. Then came the coffee dates, the “Should we grab a coffee?” messages, and the long walks.
Looking back now, we laugh about how we spent years in the same circles without ever noticing each other.
Sometimes, meeting the right person is all about the right time. And that’s exactly how our story began. 🤍
