Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

1. Who We Are

WedCall (wedcall.com) is operated by Orbinate LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have. For any privacy question, write to may@orbinate.com.

2. Data We Collect

Account data: your name, email address, and optional profile details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google — never your password.

Wedding data: everything you add to plan your wedding — events, guest names and contact details, RSVPs, photos, stories, budgets, and checklists.

Usage data: standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security, rate limiting, and improving the Service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide the Service: hosting your wedding pages, delivering invitations and RSVP tracking, and sending you service-related notifications. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your guests' contact details for marketing.

4. Guest Data

Couples add their guests' names, phone numbers, and email addresses to manage invitations. We process this data on behalf of the couple and use it only to deliver invitations and collect RSVPs for that wedding. If you are a guest and want your data removed, contact the couple or email us directly.

5. Sharing & Processors

We share data only with the service providers needed to run WedCall: cloud hosting (DigitalOcean, EU region), Google (sign-in), payment processing (Stripe, if you make a purchase), and analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — see Section 6). Each processor receives only what it needs to perform its function.

Public wedding pages are visible to anyone with the link, based on the visibility settings the couple chooses.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

To understand how the Service is used and to improve it, we use analytics tools: a self-hosted, cookieless page-view counter (Umami), Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records anonymized interaction sessions (clicks, scrolls, page navigation) so we can find and fix usability problems; text you type into forms is masked and not captured. These tools are used for product improvement only, never to sell or advertise.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account or a wedding, the associated data — including guest lists and photos — is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.

8. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing may@orbinate.com. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have additional rights such as objection and portability — we honor these requests regardless of location.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.

10. Children

WedCall is not directed at minors under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data as account holders. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. The date above always reflects the latest version.
